The invention relates to a pharmaceutical inhalation dry-powder sampling device that may be used to sample aerosolized dry powder during the spray-drying process, enabling precise particle aerodynamic size screening and monitoring and also ensuring the produced dry powder meets the desired specifications, namely particles aerodynamic size. The pharmaceutical inhalation dry-powder sampling device comprises: (A) a sampling inlet comprising an aerosol probe for receiving aerosol particles from the spray-drying apparatus; (B) an aerosol disperser for deagglomerating and diluting the received aerosol particles; and (C) an outlet for supplying the dispersed aerosol particles to an aerodynamic particle size sensor.
