Technology partnerships
Hovione is keen to consider partnerships with third
parties to study novel technologies that have a fit with Hovione technical
activity and business strategy. Hovione will devote time and resources
to apply a third party's technology to relevant projects, products or
processes, in order to jointly study a novel technology and assess its
application and benefits within the scope of the API and pharmaceutical
development.
Hovione´s policy on Partnerships for the study of novel
technologies includes:
| 1.
|
Hovione will not commit to
using a novel technology before performing a joint study to assess
and quantify its benefits and fit with its technical strategy. |
|
|
| 2. |
Hovione will pay royalties
for using a technology based on direct process saving achieved through
the use of the technology. |
|
|
| 3. |
Hovione will not make up front
payments for the study or testing of a technology, including the evaluation
of equipment. |
|
|
| 4. |
The study and assessment of
a novel application will include studies at a Hovione site and will
be carried out by both Hovione and technology holder's personnel.
