forums between our most knowledgeable chemists and Particle Design engineers
in collaboration with customers’ own product developers and formulators.

Hovione’s resources, our flexibility, range of equipment and production

IP protection
Hovione has extensive expertise in patent searches
and analysis to guarantee that our developments are truly independent. We
have carried out our own proprietary research in innovative routes of synthesis
since 1959.
Designing the most cost efficient supply chain
Strategic sourcing is a key factor in low-cost commercial
manufacture of APIs. Our customers benefit from our 25-year presence in
Asia which provides us with a low-cost base. Hovione was one of the first
Western European API manufacturers with a production facility in China.
Our Macau plant was first inspected by FDA in 1987, while our purchasing
office in Hong Kong dates back to 1979. Hovione has a unique understanding
of the Chinese culture and its way of doing business. |
