Our technologies include controlled crystallization,
spray-drying, sonocrystallization and micronization. Particle Design is
a key part of customizing the API to suit alternative product delivery systems.
Our ability to enhance a product’s performance, through precise control
and manipulation of the particle’s morphology and size, enables us
to offer significant new opportunities in value generics.
Hovione has always been proactive in developing innovative solutions for
life-cycle management opportunities, improved formulations or novel delivery
systems. New salt forms, hydrates, identification and manufacture of stable
polymorphic forms, particle size reductions, agglomeration, micro-encapsulation
and co-precipitation can all be used to facilitate new paragraph IV filings.
We have also developed new techniques to achieve compatibility between two
APIs used in a combination drug product, improving stability or increasing
bioavailability. |
