Health, Safety and
Environment Policy
The protection of people, facilities and environment is
strategic to our development and a constant concern.
Therefore Hovione is committed to:

Comply with all legal
requirements and other requirements that the Company
subscribes to; |

Design the installations
and equipment, the processes and operations according to
principles that embody and safeguard Health, Safety and
Environment; |
| • |
Evaluate the risks for
health and safety and the impact to the environment in
all the areas of activity of the company and prevent any
injuries and ill health and environmental and property
damage; |

Adopt adequate policies in
the management of waste, emissions and natural resources
that prevent pollution, which are themselves, whenever
possible, integrated and autonomous; |

Inform and train all staff
and demand that they act responsibly in the protection
of Health, Safety and Environment with wisdom and in
alignment with the Business; |

Select service providers
having in consideration our policies, informing and
requiring compliance with the applicable requirements; |

Investigate and record all
non-compliance situations and implement timely
corrective/preventive actions to avoid reoccurrences;
communicate them promptly and effectively to all Company
staff and sub-contractors, whenever appropriate; |

Maintain a cordial,
transparent and constructive relationship with the
community and other interested parties based on a spirit
of mutual respect and open dialogue, and; |

Aim to continual
improvement in Health, Safety and Environment management,
evaluating regularly performance in order to reach the
established objectives. |
Human Resources Management
Policy
The company recognizes that people are its main asset and
that Hovione’s continued success depends on the involvement,
effort and professionalism of everyone that works at Hovione.
As such, it is the policy of each Hovione company to:
